Here is a pic of my version of caveman's hunting scene.......

Hi Pauline, its 99.9% stainless steel and .1% mild steel (that's what the little men are made of).........no paints or anything of a similar nature applied, just the colours I have bought out from the metal.......glad you like it........I have another one in this style, but its a little rude so not sure if I should post it up or not! What you think? :-)
How cool is that?
Nice work.
Thanks for that NotBob! appreciate the comment on this piece, So if you saw that in a shop as you passed by, how much would you pay for it? Bearing in mind its unique!
(I would like to point out at this point that I am not trying a hard sell here, I would just be interested to know your opinion and anyone elses should they care to share it) :-)
This is really beautiful. ![]()
Depends on the size of the piece, but I certainly would be looking at more than I could afford!
It's hard to tell from just an image on my screen, but I would imagine that the colours change depending on the angle that you look at it and the ambient light as well. So judging purely on what I see and guesstimating that it's around 2 feet square-ish, I'd say £300-£400. Maybe a bit more, even. It is a very elegant piece of art that would go well in a modern, minimalistic living room.
Mind you, I'm useless at valuations. There were a couple of antique English pottery pie dishes on "Trust Me I'm A Dealer" tonight that I wouldn't have given a tenner for, but they sold for £600...
Thanks for the reply on this one NotBob, you must be my lucky charm or something as this piece sold today!
The size of the piece is approx A4 paper, so its not quite as big as you imagined. (Although I think it would look great that size)
You are so right about the colours and how they change in this piece and you can really play with the lighting on these as well and get some amazing results. I often tell people that they have two artworks in one when they buy a piece, as it performs differently in the night when the lights go on and is ever changing in the day as the natural light catches it, but how it looks in the pic is pretty much how it is under natural light (Well that s natural camera flash light in the day I mean.) I am still amazed myself how they change when they are hanging on my wall and I am standing back and studying them throughout the day!
I have to say I like your valuations even if they are a little off target sometimes! this was for sale at a snip of £35.00 so I think that's good value for money, all things considered.
As for the pie dishes going for £600 I know what I would prefer to have on my wall! :-)
£35! You, sir, are selling yourself short!!
Even A4 size I'd have gladly parted with twice that.
Well thank you very much for saying so, its nice when others can see value in your own creations. :-D
Thanks for that Suburban! :-)
